If you are as obsessed with pasta and potatoes as I am then you’ll know how difficult it is to eat anything else! However, if you want to shed a few pounds for an upcoming event or a bunch of fierce holiday selfies then you’ll have to plan ahead.
Whenever I have wanted to shed the weight in the past, I never found anything I enjoyed eating as much as pasta, potatoes and bread until now.
By experimenting, I followed this cheap and tasty diet plan and saw the weight drop off! I lost 2 inches around my waist in the first 4 weeks!
*1 and a half cups of frozen green garden peas and 1/3 a cup of frozen sweet corn 🌽
Boil for 12 minutes then add…
1/3 a cup of drained tinned chickpeas (in brine) Boil for 2 minutes drain through a colander.
Add salt if required, 1 tablespoon of olive oil flavoured with white truffle, half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper and your topping of choice?
- 50 grams of smoked salmon (total cost of salad served 1 for £3.01)
- or 50 grams of coleslaw (total cost of salad served 1 for £1.01)
- or 50 gram cottage cheese (total cost served 1 for £1.32
I advise that you replace your main meal each day with this low calories summer salad for a period of 4 weeks to see results. Enjoy x
