This month marks Gay Pride Month and we are also in the middle of the global Black Lives Matter movement. Both these movements are about the rights that so many of us are not afforded, because of a social construct that puts minorities in a sub-class.

Those who are not in this sub-class can go about their lives with the greatest of ease, getting married, reproducing, getting their dream jobs, buying themselves houses, experience the abundance of travel due to higher wages and society views these privileged people as society?

This is not society, for society would mean everyone would have the rights to good education, health, wealth, social care, legal representation, bread, bricks and mortar.

All the protests way back when, talks of liberation and freedom for the oppressed in “SOCIETY” should have made headway; but how sad, that in 2020 it’s so clear that most privileged people like their cosy couches and their plasma TV’s. They like their small and insular social circles and don’t really want to mix it up. I mean, how scary would it be to have friends who weren’t actually just like you? Not very.

Ever thought….. Oh, I don’t actually have any ethnic friends but I love their music? They make great sports people and they sure can dance but I wouldn’t want one dating my child? ? …. I’m not really supportive of black women but i’d date a black man, cause mixed race babies are sooo cute?? I’m not sure any religion supports gays or lesbians or LGBTQ or anything i’m not comfortable with but I love Elton John and i’d have me some Gucci any day?✌

WAKE UP and smell the incense. Realise that sooner or later you’ll have to see through your bullshit and “US”, the minorities…….”WE” will eventually have to stop marching to get our fucking points across!
