It’s been a trend for a while now and I for one often oscillate between embracing faith (no particular one actually but mostly in myself) and finding religion a really toxic ideology.

While morality is very much what the preachers are trying to get across, humanity seems to have largely lost it’s grasp of it’s moral compass many moons ago. Humanity? ⚖️ Moral compass?…..WE JUST DON’T GET ALONG ????

Trends are like our new religion and none so much as the need to wear religious talismans to keep us on the straight and narrow. However, this does create a grey area, as in some work places tribunals have either established that they are offensive or have looked into the issue of individual rights?

That aside, my current Corona-phobia means I am busting out my crosses and St Christopher’s like nobodies business? Layering is the key to feeling like I may be saved…

If you’re feeling like a prayer (see what I did there?) there are plenty of great trinkets on Ebay, your local jewellers, vintage shops, pawnbrokers, markets, TK Maxx or even Argos.

Just remember wearing a cross may be a trend for some but it’s a lifestyle for others, so you may suddenly find yourself in conversation with a believer. Best thing to do is be respectful, admit you’ve appropriated and best be on your way!
